Dressed in tiny pink cowboy boots and a flower-print dress, Avery danced adorably onstage while her mom and the duo sang a chorus of their career-launching hit Baby Girl, which was caught on tape and posted to YouTube for everyones enjoyment. Avery is a patient at St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, which specializes in treating children. Her mother, Jennifer, told Nettles that Avery was diagnosed with cancer at 22 months and given a grim prognosis. Doctors said she had just 3-6 months to live, even with treatment. Avery is now 4 years old, and after treatment at St. Jude, she is 85 % cancer free.
